Rebecca’s paintings are death warrants. The moment her brush touches canvas, she sees how the subject dies.
When she’s offered a chance to travel back in time to stop the war that killed her family, she takes it—only to meet Jake, a man whose portrait she cannot finish. He has already lived through the future, and he’s there to rewrite it, too.
But history is a zero-sum game. As they trace the roots of the conflict, they realize the timeline only has room for one of their families to survive. To save her parents, Rebecca must ensure Jake’s family never exists.
